A 5 -point mini face lift involves injection of a hyaluronic acid dermal filler “Profhilo®” into 5 injection sites on each side of the face. The injections are administered using fine needles into the superficial layer of the skin. This procedure can also be performed in conjunction with other aesthetic treatments to improve overall tissue quality.
After injection Profhilo® remains in place for up to 28 days before being safely broken down the body and eliminated. While in place, it hydrates the skin and stimulates four different types of collagen and elastin production resulting in a significant improvement in tissue quality. Over all skin texture and tone is improved resulting in a more radiant complexion. Treatment effects vary depending on the health and the age of the skin.
Treatment areas that can benefit from the injection of Profhilo® include the temples, forehead, the neck, hands, décolleté, inner arms, knees and hands.
At Clapham Skin Clinic, you will have a face to face/telephonic consultation with our doctor to ensure your suitability for treatment. The procedure involves the application of a numbing agent (local anaesthetic) to minimise any feelings of discomfort during injection. The injections of Profhilo® are administered using an ultrafine needle into the superficial layer of the dermis into 5 injection sites on each side of the face.
For the majority of clients, two treatments, delivered one month apart is sufficient every six months. Top up treatments may be required depending on the response to the initial treatment.
Loss of collagen and elastin occurs in our skin from early age. This makes the skin thinner and causing it to appear less radiant. Profhilo® can slow down this process, develop firmer skin and prevent the formation of lines and volume loss.

Profhilo® can be safely combined with other non-surgical cosmetic treatments to enhance its effects.
It is safe to resume normal activity immediately following treatment. However, we advise clients to avoid sun exposures, use of saunas, strenuous exercise or stimulating the treatment area for 24 hours following treatment.
As with all injectable treatments there is a small risk of bruising, swelling and discolouration at the injection site for a few days post treatment. Although rare there is also the possibility of nodule formation, bumps, allergic reactions, and vascular compromise in response to treatment.
Profhilo® is not recommended for individuals who have a known sensitivity to hyaluronic acid or pregnant or breast-feeding women.
